Web/Graphic Designer
We are sourcing for a skilled Web/Graphic Designer. This role will suit a curious, creative, innovative, conceptual thinker, happy to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment and remain open and positive. We want someone who wants to contribute and bring some ideas to what we do, plus have the skill to pull them off, and the patience to get it all working perfectly. We want someone who can think big, while still paying attention to detail. We are seeking an outstanding web designer to play a key role within the product development team. The designer will work closely with the team to create best-of-class websites for our clients.
Responsibilities will include:
- Define the graphic identity, user interface, & interactive experience for all client websites.
- Create interactive web sites including graphics, animations and web adverts
- Perform maintenance of graphics & content for web pages & web sites.
Requirements
- Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash
- A zeal for web standards
- Experience of valid website design & creation using XHTML, CSS, & Flash
- 2+ years of production-quality, full-time experience; collaborative experience preferred
- Bachelors degree in a multimedia and/or graphic design preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered
- Experience designing highly usable, effective interfaces for web-based applications
- A portfolio that includes self-started personal projects
- A sharp eye for content, close attention to detail, excellent self-motivation
- Ability to turn projects around quickly, must be able to multi-task and prioritize
- Eagerness to accept new tasks and responsibilities and develop new skills
- Excellent written and spoken English proficiency; strong communication skills
